When I woke up this morning,
I could not find my brain.
I searched and searched inside my head,
I knew I used to have one,
it was surely somewhere safe;
I need to keep it working,
at our frantic corporate pace.
The poor brain had escaped at night
while I was in my bed.
And so I made a desparate search
to find that poor cereb.
I found it hiding in the room,
and put it back inside,
but as I placed it in my head,
I knew that it was fried.
So now I take good care of it,
and feed it simple thoughts.
And there are times I do recall
some stuff that I forgot.
Each night before I go to sleep
I hook it with a latch.
Yes, one thing is for certain:
I will keep my brain attached!
